LONG TERM BUSINESS VISA (LTBV)

LTBV is a temporary multiple entry work visa for 3 years to enable applicants to establish and manage business in New Zealand.  You must have relevant business experience either as owner or a senior executive managing entire business and meet policy requirements. LTBV provides pathway to securing Residence through Entrepreeneur Visa, upon successfully establishing and managing business for 2 years.

ENTREPRENEUR VISA and ENTREPRENEUR PLUS VISA

• Entrepreneur Visa - this is a Residence Visa for Long Term Business Visa (LTBV) holders who have established and successfully managed the business approved under LTBV for 2 years. 
• Entrepreneur Plus Visa - alternatively, Long Term business Visa (LTBV) holders can fast track their Residence under the Entrepreneur Plus category, by investing at least NZ $ 0.5 million in business and creatinge jobs for at least 3 New Zealanders. In that case you need not wait for 2 years and will qualify for Residence upon meeting the investment and job creation requirements.

EMPLOYEES OF RELOCATING BUSINESS

To qualify for Residence Visa under this category, you must be a key employee of a relocating business approved by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, meet health, character & English language requirements and not qualify for residence under any existing categories.

INVESTOR 1 & INVESTOR  2 Category  VISA

• Investor 1 Category Visa  - there is no upper age limit & no minimum English language requirements. The only requirement is to meet health and character requirements, invest at least NZ $10 million for 3 years and spend at least 44 days in New Zealand in each of the 3 years
• Investor Category 2 Visa - this is a 2 stage points based visa - you submit Expression of Interest (EOI) if you score a minimum of 20 points and are aged 65 or under, have at least 3 years business experience, have minimum investment fund of NZ $1.5 million and settlement fund of NZ $1 million and meet health, character and English language requirements (IELTS 3). Upon selection of your EOI, you will be Invited To Apply (ITA) for Residence and if approved, granted Residence. You must retain  investments for 4 years and stay in New Zealand for at least 146 days in each of 4 year period.
