Indian Programme - Commercial Pilot Licence + Multi Engine Rating (MER) + Instrument Time (ME)

Ground Training - Tuitions and CAA exams for 12 subjects
This competitively priced flight training results in issue of Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) plus Multi Engine Rating and Instrument Time (Single Engine and Multi Engine). This programme meets the current DGCA requirements for issue of Indian Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi Engine Rating and Instrument Rating, upon conversion. Selection Process:This is a high quality aviation qualification with students competing for 80 places available annually. It involves two-stage selection process - students will initially undertake a pre-screening online Pilot Aptitude Test and interview with AHB for admission. After completing CPL and MEIR at AHB to required standards, students will undergo a secondary selection process with Air New Zealand Aviation Academy for entry into the Airline Integration Course (AIC). Admission into AIC will be subject to the student passing the ATPL subjects to required standards.

Ground Training (Tuitions and CAA exams) for 15 subjects
This programme provides in-depth training for MEIR endorsement as required by NZ CAA. The difference between this programme and the Indian programme is that this programme includes ground training and CAA exams for 3 Instrument Rating subjects and Multi Engine Instrument Rating flight test, as required by NZ CAA.
Instructor Rating - 'C' Cat
- Duration - upto upto 15 weeks
- Flight Time - 41 hours (PIC 14, Dual 27)
Students should have 150 PIC hours to sit the flight test.
Hour Building Courses
Hour building courses are offered in blocks of 10 hours each up to 200 hours and hourly rates depend upon the type of aircraft.This programme is for students wishing to gain additional flight hours either for higher qualification or to strengthen career prospects.

You must meet all of the following requirements at commencement of training

have NZ CAA Class 1 medical certificate (CAA medical examiners available offshore)

High School pass with Maths and Physics

good English language skills - 65% or more in High School or IELTS 6.0

undergo an online pilot aptitude test and interview with the CEO of AHB
- good character - NZ CAA requires a fit and proper person certificate before issue of PPL
