Boeing expects strong airplane & passenger traffic growth in India over next 20 yrs

Boeing says that

1. India had 53.6 million domestic & 13.1 million international passengers for  year ended March 2011
2. passenger traffic in India will grow at 8.1 per cent annually against 5.1 per cent Globally 
3. commercial airplane market in India will reach $150 billion over the next 20 years
4. India will need 1,320 new passenger airplanes over the next 20 years.
5. Globally, it forecasts a market for 33,500 new passenger airplanes worth $4 trillion over next 20 yrs
